An advertisment can be deceptive by stretching or exaggerating the truth and only telling you the good things about their product.

Advertisements can use different strategies to keep products seem better than they seem to be. For example, they might use an demonstration that is rigged so they seem better, when they really hide the truth out of everything; even the down side so they can trick people that they are the best.

Another use of deception in ads is using an expert's opinion. They have doctors or dentists to say that the products is the best recommended medicine to use, so people will think that they want to use a product that an expert uses.

One of the most popular use of persuasion is deals. Some of the sellers say that the product they're selling is an great offer by trying to throw in extra product. Or they add the same product for the same price. People are used to this kind of deception in ads. But what some people don't know that they still have to pay extra for shipping and handling.

Although, they do show problems about the product, but they show or say it so fast that people don't notice it.

Some advertisements could be deceptive by showing something that doesn't work. They could also be deceptive by telling people the product is something but it is really not. An example of a advertisement that shows a product is something but it is really not is like if it says something is healthy or organic but it is really not.

Some advertisements can be deceptive because they say you'll be happier when you buy it, or they won't say the side effects or bad parts about the product. They don't tell you everything you need to know about it. They try to get us to think that we absolutely need the item.

if they have some famous person like for an example chuck nooris then you see him on the commarciol so you want to buy it but actual he got paid too say that. yes every media influince or advertising could get you to buy tat product

Advertisements can be deceptive by tricking you into thinking that if you use their product, you will become more popular or attractive. They can also compare their products to an inferior product in commercials to make theirs seem better. Another way is staged demonstrations in whick the product is not forced to tackle anything too hard for it, which it would be likely have to deal with in the real world.

Some advertisements can be deceptive by telling you that they are for example, "Great, Fun, Cool, Relaxing, Easy, Fast, and it Really Works." For example one product that uses some of these is Fushigi. Some people really buy it and then $19.95 later find out that is a piece of junk.

Some advertisements can be deceptive because thay might tell you that you can get it for FREE (plus shipping and handeling) and the shipping is really expensive. Or they can tell you that you will never get a deal better then that. Or they could show you some one before and after but after they don't really show what really happened. They could also have a fake docter, vet, or dentest on a comercial saying that they recomend it.

Advertising can be deceptive by telling only the good about the product not the bad or effects that could happen.

Some advertisements are different than they appear to be. They can have a different result than as expected or have some other problem, such as breaking very easily.

Some advertisments can be deseptive because sometimes they say they can make you feel good or better but they dont always tell you the side effects or what is bad about the products

The way people sell their products is by telling you mostly that if you buy this you'll get something free with it most companies stretch the truth about their product to make it sound better then it actully is some advertisment can be desceotive by saying good things about their products.

Advertising can be deceptive by telling you that you will cool if you buy something but don't tell you the side effects. It can also be deceptive because id an advertisment says this will feel good if you do this and they don't say the side effects

Some products are deceiving because they only talk about how good the product is and say that it could make you cooler or that you could do things you couldnt before.

An advertisement can be deceptive by exaggerating the truth and not telling the bad things, just the good things. A lot of advertisements that can do harmful things to you will be deceptive because they want you to buy their product and not know about these bad things because then they wont want to buy it!!

Advertisements show you the better idea of the product like showing you the good stuff about it. They never include the side-effects or bad stuff about the product that can effect people in many ways.

Some things such as Advertisments are deceptive. They may not work,or they may break the first time you try it.

Alex Wickersham said...

They only show the positive things about the product, not the bad ones. If they showed both then no one would want to buy their product. Also they can mix up the truth. It's true but they mix it up. Also they say lots of opinions. Stuff that they think but it might not be right.

They Can lie about how well the product works or how it works. They can also tell a false description of the product, or say something irrelevant to the product. If they wanted to, they could even make it seem like the product was better than it acrually is.

Some advertisements can be deceptive by only showing us the good things their product will do for us, and leaving out the bad things.

bayleigh holter pd.9 said...

I think advertisments can be deceptive because it will only show the good things about the product. They will promise the buyers that the product wil never brake and when they get it, it brakes on them after the first use, not all products do that. Some of them are true for example we got a vaccum from ordering on tv and it works like it does on the tv.

hannaj9 said...

Some advertisments are deceptive because they say that oh it works so good but aactually it doesnt work at all. like ciggrates people say oh this is the best thing in the world and you will never stop. they are right about never stopping but people might just think that oh they are just saying that but no that is actually what it does you will never stop thats why advertisments are so bad. so i will see you later.
